Facet Joints Arthropathy

The arthritic process is a natural consequence of the aging process affecting the joints and the overwhelming majority of the adult population. It is not painful, so much so that diagnostic tests (X-Ray, MRI, CT, etc.) often show changes of arthritic nature even in a high percentage of people who do not complain of pain. In other words, there is no correlation between arthritic degeneration and patient symptomatology.
